Best Interest of Children
Brian Hart specializes in family law matters at Hepworth & Associates. For most of his legal career, Brian has advocated effectively and compassionately for his clients in district and juvenile court and is very comfortable inside and outside the courtroom. He has an excellent reputation with judges, commissioners, and his fellow attorneys for being fair, honest, and seeking the best outcome for his clients.
Divorce, custody, and other family law matters are life-changing events that cause incredible stress and emotional turmoil. “Normal life” is forever changed for parents and children going through these events. Brian worked for many years as a Guardian ad Litem (child advocacy) and knows first-hand the importance of seeking outcomes that maximize the best interest of children when they are involved in family law matters. He is personable, kind, compassionate, and understands the stresses and emotional turmoil associated with divorce and custody matters. He has strong empathy for his clients and works hard to help clients navigate the often-complex legal system to help clients and their families find their "new normal” lives and move forward with hope and a better future.
Brian loves spending time with his family. He is also an avid mountain biker and cyclist, enjoying the local trails and the majestic (and perilous!) trails of Moab and St. George and successfully completed a century ride in Texas. He also loves playing basketball and has taken up climbing at the gym.
