Zachary C. Myers loves a good fight much more than his opponents. He doesn't back down. If you have been harassed by a bully, Zach will take the fight to the bully and will not back down.
Zach is a trial attorney. He has won multiple trials in Utah’s courts. His training, creativity, and sense of justice make him the perfect person to vindicate your rights.
Zach’s education and training include a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science (Magna Cum Laude) from Utah State University and a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center. At Georgetown Zach explored a broad variety of interests. He was the Senior Submissions Editor for the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal. He also participated in mock trial competitions, won a pro bono asylum case, and advised the Ohio Public Service Commission on administrative law and energy policy.
Zach loves helping people who are down on their luck. Zach serves on the Executive Committee of the non-profit organization, Emerging Legal Leaders (“ELL”). Among other things, ELL raises funds for Utah Legal Services and the Utah Disability Law Center. Zach also volunteers as mock trial judge for the Utah Law Related Education.
Academic accomplishments include publication into two legal periodicals, including an article in the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal.
Past Legal positions include an internship for Magistrate Judge Paul Warner at the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah; an internship with the U.S. Executive Office for Immigration Review; a fellowship with the Utah Public Service Commission; and a clerkship at the largest immigration law firm in the U.S. located in Washington, D.C.
