John W. Murray is a Utah civil litigation and patent attorney with a strong interdisciplinary background in law, technology, and business. In addition to his litigation practice, John is a registered patent attorney and brings valuable insight to matters involving intellectual property and technology. His prior experience as a network programmer with IBM and Cisco Systems, combined with his later ventures in startups and real estate development, enables him to offer practical, business-oriented legal solutions.

John holds a Science Bachelor from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah, and a law degree from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School. His academic foundation bridges science, business, and law—supporting a multifaceted approach to client representation.

John is also instrumental in advancing the firm’s internal legal systems.
