Steven M. Littlefield, J.D.

Steven M. Littlefield is a 2023 graduate of the University of Idaho College of Law where he served as President of the Idaho Veteran Law Association and as a 3L Council Member of the Student Bar Association. Prior to law school, Steven earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration, graduating magna cum laude from Park University in 2019.

During law school, Steven gained valuable experience as a law clerk and legal assistant at Hepworth Legal in Bountiful, Utah. He continues to serve as a law clerk, where he drafts various motions for attorneys on family law and civil litigation cases and attends hearings while shadowing attorneys to prepare for his future practice. Throughout his tenure, Steven has drafted motions to dismiss on constitutional arguments, filed motions on civil litigation cases, and prepared demand letters for various legal matters. Steven also volunteered with the Idaho Innocence Project, conducting legal research and attending case meetings, and with Jesse Tree of Idaho, assisting tenants facing eviction through mediation and financial assistance programs.

Currently, Steven also serves as the office manager, where he oversees the support staff, manages the task management program to ensure staff productivity, and provides necessary training to team members. His leadership and organizational skills help maintain the efficient operation of the firm’s daily activities.

Before embarking on his legal career, Steven honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. He completed two combat tours, one in Iraq in 2007-2008 and one in Afghanistan in 2009-2010, where he conducted patrols as a fire-team leader and maintained accountability for his team. This experience instilled in Steven a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure.

Steven is passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of the legal system. He is always seeking opportunities to strengthen his skills and gain the experience necessary for a successful legal career. Known for his sincerity, patience and willingness to help, Steven looks forward to being an advocate for his future clients.

In his free time, Steven enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, watching softball, and exploring the outdoors. He eagerly awaits the opportunity to take the Bar Exam and begin his legal career.
